The Numbers Behind the Trucks

Most carriers ask you to trust their word on safety and reliability. We’d rather hand you the source. Briggs Transport operates under USDOT #265445/MC-187733, and our full record is public on the FMCSA SAFER system. No press release required, just the federal data.

This is the data that sets us apart. It can’t be copied or claimed overnight. It is a track record that we have earned, year over year.

Our Trucks. Our Drivers. Our Reputation.

We’re a women-owned, WBENC-certified freight carrier based in Bear Lake, Pennsylvania, running 20 trucks and 40 trailers with 30 drivers on staff. More than 100 customers, including national accounts like Cummins and Serta, have built ongoing freight relationships with us, and most of our growth has come from one shipper mentioning us to another.

We own the equipment. We employ the drivers.
There’s no third party between the quote you get and the truck that shows up.

What We Haul

Equipment

Our fleet runs dry van and belt trailers. If you’re unsure whether your freight matches our equipment, a quick call will get you a direct answer.

Freight Types

We have deep experience hauling engine parts and palletized freight, and we run both full truckload and partial truckload shipments depending on what a shipper needs. We do not haul hazmat loads. If your freight falls outside what we run, we’ll tell you that upfront rather than take a load we’re not set up to handle correctly.

Coverage In Motion

Our established lanes cover Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, West Virginia, New Jersey, and Maryland. We also run regular freight through Indiana and Illinois, and have select national routes as well.

Coverage You Can Plan Around

Visibility While Your Load Is Moving

Every truck runs on ELD systems, and we can provide tracking updates for the duration of the shipment. You’ll know where your freight is without having to ask.

Protected at Every Mile

We carry one million dollars in cargo insurance and one million dollars in liability coverage. A certificate of insurance is available on request.

Why Shippers Stay With Briggs

Drivers With Real Tenure

A 20-year average tenure means our drivers have run these lanes long enough to handle tight windows and difficult loads without it becoming a learning experience at your expense.

A Reputation Backed by Real Data.

Our FMCSA rating, out-of-service percentages, and USDOT number are all part of the public record. Look them up before you call us, not after.

Women-Owned, WBENC Certified

Briggs Transport is certified through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. If your organization has supplier diversity goals, we bring both the certification and the operating history to back it up.

Relationships That Outlast a Single Load

More than 100 customers work with us on an ongoing basis. That kind of retention isn’t something you can advertise your way into. It comes from showing up the same way every time.

Ask us about our current performance for your specific lane and we’re happy to share it.
Briggs Transport allows one hour of free time at pickup and delivery. After that, a detention rate of $75 per hour applies at the shipper or receiver. Call us to confirm specific terms for your lane and load type.

With a fleet of 20 trucks and 40 trailers, we have room to flex with our clients’ needs, whether that means scaling up during a busy season or adjusting as volume slows. Because we’re not relying on outside carriers to fill gaps, we can move quickly to accommodate changes.
